The curriculum consists of 5 in-depth skill-building courses. This online course on Artificial Intelligence starts with an introduction, then deep dives into database concepts and programming fundamentals with Python language and AI statistics.

  • Course 1: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence - Starting from generic themes like evolution and definition, early AI technology, its timeline, pioneers and trends, the course moves to more specific topics, like the difference between narrow, general and super AI and opportunities in AI across industries. The last module in the course touches upon the principles of Machine Learning.
  • Course 2: Database Concepts - Understand the databases aligned with AI. Get an introduction of database concepts and relational databases. Explore further with SQL, covering relational database models, types of SQL relationships, data types and formats. The course teaches how to use Python for data acquisition and analysis.
  • Course 3: AI Programming Fundamentals - Gain an understanding of programming concepts that are aligned with AI. Learn about algorithms and get the practical knowledge of Python. Get introduced to AI programming, understand data types, fundamental data structures, basic Python programming, for instance, string, loops, branch, NumPy and Pandas. Learn about sorting and searching algorithms as well as geometric and graphing algorithms.
  • Course 4: AI Statistics with Python - Learn mathematical and statistical concepts for AI and develop models for building solutions. Get started with Cognos. Understand descriptive statistics, correlation of data, basic statistical analysis tools and visualize data with Plotly.
  • Course 5: Data Visualization with Python - Make your data interactive with creative graphs and live charts with specialized visualization tools. Ace the fundamentals and identify popular visualization dashboards. Get introduced to building different types of charts. Create maps and visualize geospatial data.
