This course covers the principles of design for spatial computing,including reticle-based interaction, gesture recognition and avoiding visual occlusion and cognitive overload in the user's field of view.

After completing this Pathway, you will be able to:

  • Formulate and prototype appropriate 3D UI patterns (e.g. spatial menus, gaze-based input) for an AR headset platform
  • Prioritise user comfort and minimise cognitive load
